Maybe just an Eeensy Weensy bit...

I am going to admit that I was feeling a little bit jealous about Connie's new project getting a nice post and image on the blog. I decided to reveal an image I captured of my muse for my latest project.

Just thinking about her beautiful iconic form and lines has kept me up nights.

I hope this picture evokes the same feelings in you that it does in me. I can hardly wait to let the world see my version of this romantic and classic beauty.

What is IT?

I talked about a project that my wife has had in hiding for a long time. Well I am so excited for this new design to be revealed that I am posting this image without her knowledge.

I had to be pretty sneaky just to get this one shot, so excuse the fact that it is so distorted and strange. I hope you can make some sense out of this photo.

You may be asking yourself this question. What is IT? I'm sorry, this was the best I could do for now.
Maybe I can find time to be alone with IT again and get a capture a better image for you. I will try to do that in the next day or two.

Just bear with me for a little while.

GREAT NEWS A JOINT VENTURE

My wife Connie is about to officially launch herself as an artist with the CuteByDesign team. She has always been a staunch supporter of mine but has kept her skills to herself.
She has been working on her knitting skills and is close to being ready to reveal her first Newborn Handknit Pod project.

She is also very close to letting me post the first ever image of a design that she has kept under wraps for almost two years. It should be very exciting.

HAVE I CAUGHT YOUR ATTENTION YET? I hope so. I am really excited to have her joining me is this venture. Keep visiting. She might let me capture a couple of sneak peeks at what she is creating.

Letting the Cat out.

This cocoon set went straight from the needs to be photographed box to a customer. I offered to hurriedly snap a couple of images for her to see of this set after she wrote to me interested in another animal print set that is listed in the store.
The hat did get embellished with a red satin bow and black ostrich plumes before it was shipped, as per the customers request.

About Time

Dear Blog, it may seem like a long time since I visited you. Actually it has been so long that I almost couldn't find my way back in. It took a couple of attempts. Pretty sad, huh?
I didn't intend to be away this long. It just happened that way. I thought I was making progress figuring out this whole creative process, when in truth I was just realizing that the technology is moving so quick that I don't think I will ever catch up. I can barely blog much less tweet, twitter, facebook and whatever else is available out there.

I keep reading about all of the ways I should be reaching out to the world to be successful at what I am attempting.
I am going at a much slower pace than is predicted to be necessary. I guess that is how it goes sometimes.
Okay, enough with the morose attitude.

The great thing is that I have sold more thing recently than usual.
I have had inquiries about things that buyers would like to see in the store. They like what I am doing but want to ask if I can make certain things in specific colors for them.
I am in the process of developing a project for a young photographer who actually felt comfortable enough to share her ideas for a photography prop that she can't find out there on the web. It is something that I think will be dynamite when it is done. It is taking a lot of time to develop the pattern so that a prototype can be made. She will be the first to have this amazing new creation, assuming it develops into what she imagined. Either way, I feel confident that the finished product will be of interest to artists in the photography community.
This is the kind of interaction that I have been wanting to have with a photographer for a long time.

So I have things to work on for the future that are fueling my creative needs

So my dear blog site, thanks for listening. It felt very freeing to be able to share with you.
